Institute
of Legal Study galvanizes research activities and
conducts academic exchanges in Japan and abroad,
and carries out projects focusing on exchange activities
with the local community. Our goal is to promote
research into law and politics and to implement
practical education supported by research.

We also held
an open symposium "Judicial Reform and Legal Education"
in 2001 to mark the university's 30th anniversary. Participants
vigorously debated the university's role in "judicial
society. "We will continue to have discussions about
the future of education at Faculty of Law after the law
school system begins. We also hold academic exchange lectures
and monthly research meetings.
We encourage students to participate in some of the academic
exchange lectures and a large number of students attend.
We also dispatch our instructors to the citizens' university
lectures sponsored by the City of Yao, and plan lectures
where Yao's local administrators serve as instructors.
These lectures are open to the general public as well
as to our students. |
