Main Building
Academic Affairs Division
This division handles class registration, provides advice regarding study and issues various certificates.


Student Affairs Division
This division supports students' lives on campus in many ways including assisting with club/circle activities, accepting scholarship applications and providing information about boarding houses and part-time jobs.


International Affairs Division
This division makes announcements about international events held on campus and provides consultation services for study abroad. It also plays a coordinating role on behalf of foreign students who offer foreign language lessons. Students have access to foreign magazines and can use language teaching materials available at this division.


Careers and Employment Division
This division provides extensive support for students' job-hunting activities. It makes available data files containing lists of employment opportunities and conducts meetings with students. We help each student to find careers that corresponds to their skills and aptitudes.


Medical Office and Counseling Room
To help students lead healthy and emotionally stable lives, the medical office offers health checkup and medical examination.
And counseling room offers counseling sessions to students who may be encountereing problems in their daily life.

Library

There is a wide range of technical books and valuable materials not only on economics and law but also literature and books related to general education. Our computer system is able to search for and locate a book in an instant among the approximately 300,000 books that the library houses. It is easy to collect materials for classes or to look for information needed for coursework. The system is also connected online with 690 universities nationwide and students can easily access other libraries. There is also a video center that can be utilized for seminars, and an AV corner where videos and laser discs can be viewed. We have a multimedia room which has CD-ROM search equipment, an AV booth section and 29 PC booths. Students can access information in books and on the Internet simultaneously.


Archive room for valuable materials
Very precious documents of historic significance are stored in this room including the US Congress minutes since the country's founding and 18-19th century German documents on socialism. The collection has gained such a high reputation that researchers from outside the university visit this room.


Online information search
All books, magazines, videos and microfilms in the library are managed in our database. You can check the loan status at any time on or off campus. The library system is connected to Lexis.com, a large world-class database for English and American laws. It is now possible to collect overseas information on legislation and court cases.

Roosevelt University Commemorative Memorial

Student Dining Hall
The "Campus Restaurant", at the Roosevelt University Memorial, offers a wide variety of menu options including combination meals, pasta and omelet rice. There is also a café.



Building No. 6
This building is the center of information technology education. A multimedia lecture room is located on this site. It supports the university's progressive information technology education.


Computer rooms
The computer rooms house a total of 125 computers. These computers are connected to "NICE", Network for Information, Communication and Education.


CALL room
This is the state-of-the-art room for foreign language education with 51 computers and diverse multimedia teaching materials including Internet and DVD.

Gymnasium "Shoshuku-kan"

This gymnasium has a large arena big enough to accommodate three basketball courts, as well as practice rooms for indoor sports and training rooms. Students are able to receive instruction from in-house trainers. This is one of the largest and best equipped in the Kansai region.



Sports ground

Members of rugby, American football, and soccer teams, and track and field clubs practice here every day. Floodlights make night practice and games possible.



Clubhouse

Adjacent to the gymnasium is the Clubhouse. This is the center of athletic club' activities with clubrooms and sleeping quarters. These facilities can be used for daily club activities and training camps.



Student Hall

Textbooks and technical books used in lectures and seminars are available at the bookstore. It also carries a wide range of books including bestsellers, paperbacks and magazines. There is a café restaurant "OEL".



Building No. 3

This facility is specifically designed for foreign language studies where students can practice their international communication skills. In each room, advanced equipment is installed that allows a range of class formats.



Building No. 5

This tall white building is something of a university landmark and is situated in the center of our campus. This is one of the buildings on campus most frequently used by students.



Cultural Hall

This is used as an activity base for cultural clubs and circles. There are clubrooms, music practice rooms and a cafeteria.
